Suhagra 100mg (Sildenafil Citrate Tablets IP)
Suhagra, aka sildenafil citrate, is the generic name of the popular brand Viagra. Sildenafil is used to treat impotence or erectile dysfunction in men.
Sildenafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis to get or maintain an erection.
Suhagra is a generic brand name by Cipla Ltd for the drug Sildenafil Citrate.
Sildenafil was the first major erectile dysfunction (ED) medication on the market and was first popularized by Pfizer under the brand Viagra.
Sildenafil helps men achieve an erection by relaxing arteries and increasing blood flow to the male genitalia. However, Sildenafil doesn’t trigger an erection on its own and sexual stimulation is still required.
The standard dose for Sildenafil is one tablet ideally taken 1 hour before intercourse.
The particular dosage depends on your condition, response to the treatment, and other medications you may be taking.
You may start on 25mg tablets to see if it is sufficient, and may increase to 50mg, 100mg or 200mg tablets if needed.
The effects of Sildenafil can last up to 4 hours and should not be taken more than once per day.
Side effects of taking Sildenafil may include but not limited to: dizziness, headaches, flushing (feeling of warmth), heartburn, and diarrhea.
Do not take Sildenafil with other ED medications.
If adverse effects or severe allergic reactions occur, or the above symptoms do not go away, discontinue use and promptly discuss with your physician.
